Discover the ancient Mayan city of Toniná, a pre-Columbian archaeological site filled with former palaces, temples, sculptures and a towering pyramid, on this full day private tour.
Once we pick you up from your hotel, we move to Ocosingo Chiapas, where we will have a delicious breakfast (not included). After breakfast we move to the Za Tonina, which means “Large Stone Houses”, the heyday of this Mayan archaeological zone dates back to the end of the 6th century and the beginning of the 10th century AD so that around the year 900 it became the largest acropolis of Neolithic Mexico. The main one at the highest point of the complex, the highest in Mesoamerica. Among the most relevant sculptures found in Toniná are that of its last ruler: Tzots Choj and, recently, having 3 hours of visiting time, to fully enjoy the tour. To finish the trip we move to the city of San Cristobal and with the option of ending in Ocosingo, Chiapas.
