Start an exciting excursion in the morning from San Cristóbal de Las Casas to one of the most beautiful places in the region. Along the way, stop for a delicious breakfast (not included in the cost) before continuing on to the eco-tourism center Las Nubes.
Arrive at the spectacular Las Nubes, located on the banks of the mighty Santo Domingo River. This natural paradise boasts crystal-clear waterfalls and pools that create stunning landscapes surrounded by lush vegetation. Walk along different trails that lead to several viewpoints, appreciate the majesty of the Santo Domingo River and the impressive waterfalls that give this site its name. Plus, have the thrill of crossing a hanging bridge in front of the waterfalls and enjoying a refreshing swim in the pools as long as conditions and weather permit.
After this unique experience, travel to Montebello Lakes, the most beautiful lake area in Mexico. Here, in the Natural Reserve of the same name, admire several lakes and, if the weather permits, see the different shades of their crystal-clear waters surrounded by pines, oaks, and jungle. Also have time to enjoy delicious local cuisine in one of the cottages run by the locals (food not included in the cost).
Finally, return to San Cristóbal de las Casas to get dropped off.
