At the beautiful Condesa home of your knowledgeable chef/guide, you'll learn what's behind every good salsa before getting to work on preparing five delicious types from scratch. Next, you'll discover the tricks to the perfect corn tortilla before making your own from fresh masa.

Just over an hour later, you’ll set the table with responsibly-sourced artisanal serveware and build the tacos of your dreams using a wide range of fillings and a tangy green tomatillo salsa, smoky red molcajete salsa, and sweet, nutty salsa macha, among other sauces.

Dietary requirements will be accommodated, and Mexican craft beer and soft drinks will keep you hydrated throughout the experience.

Wheelchair users have attended the class before, but the building in which it takes place does not have an elevator. Allergy sufferers should be aware that, although they’re kept out of the cooking area and I have allergy pills available for guests who need them, there are two cats in the house.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
