Discover Xochimilco in a traditional and colorful boat named "Trajinera" where you will have lots of fun playing, enjoying local food, mariachi music and having a real Mexican local experience.
Experience this guided boat trip by exploring the canals of Xochimilco with your bilingual local guide that will share with you the history of the river while you enjoy the beautiful landscape.
During the ride, you will enjoy drinks like tequila, margaritas, water, sodas and have mexican candies and food.
While on the tour you will play Mexican table games like the "Loteria" which is the Mexican Bingo, the "pirinola" roulette and you will be able to win a prize if you win the game.
Listen to regional music such as mariachi singers, northern music, marimba music, where they will come close to your boat to sing a song.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant located in a "chinampa" which are small floating islands in the river, and enjoy a Mexican lunch, you will have time to rest for some minutes on the floating island and meet local people.
Once you are back in the boat you will have a brief workshop where you will learn how to prepare a michelada cocktail, enjoy mexican candies and drink some tequila or mezcal, water, juice or soda while listening mexican music that will make you dance before coming back to the meeting point.

The tolerance is 15 minutes under a fine of 25 dollars (it will be used to pay for the extra time of the boat)
If your hotel is located in Condesa, Roma, Polanco, Juárez, Centro or Narvarte neighborhoods, your trip will take approximately 1 hour to get to Xochimilco.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
