Teotihuacan Hot Air Balloon Tour from Mexico City

There's no better way to experience the Teotihuacan Pyramids than from the sky! Be part of a magical and colourful hot air balloon adventure.

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Mexico City early in the morning to take a 1-hour drive to Teotihuacan. The pick-up service starts at 5:00am and follows a route that covers most of the hotels in Mexico City. (We will be confirming the exact pickup time from your hotel.) If you are staying in an Airbnb, or in an area not included in our route, we will recommend the closest or most convenient meeting point for pick-up. Our tolerance time is 10 minutes so as not to affect the logistics of the activity, so please be ready on time! Once we arrive at the balloon port, you'll register at the front desk (you'll need to sign a waiver letter) and then enjoy a coffee break bar as you watch our crew begin to inflate the balloon. Once the balloon is ready, we will board and the pilot will give safety instructions. As soon as it leaves the ground, it's an unforgettable experience!

Feel the excitement of admiring the Sun and Moon Temples from 2,000 feet above the ground and admire the beautiful green valley, volcanoes and mountains during the flight. It is important to mention that hot air balloons cannot be directed - they follow the wind's direction, and therefore the place of landing cannot be predicted. Our ground staff will monitor the balloon all-time to assist us in landing. Once on land, the balloon will be stored and you will be transferred back to the balloon port. After an unforgettable experience, we will invite you to our garden to enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast. NOTE: During the validity of safety and hygiene measures due to COVID-19, you’ll enjoy a plated breakfast.

We will proceed to give you your flight certificate, and then make a toast with our crew and passengers - raising our glasses to give thanks to the wind, fire, water and mother earth for allowing us to have this amazing experience! You'll then have time to explore the Archaeological Zone (entrance not included). Teotihuacan means “the place where men become gods”, and it is one of the largest cities during the Pre-Hispanic times. You can walk at your own pace and discover every corner of this imposing city. And if you wish, you can hire the specialized services of a guide to explore the area! Around 13:30, we will pick you up from Teotihuacan to start our return trip to Mexico City. The return will take us longer than the arrival due to traffic (estimated 2 hours). You will be dropped-off at the same place we picked you up.

Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
