Description

Experience the magic of Oaxaca, where some of the world’s best coffee beans are grown, on a tour of a local coffee farm. Afterwards, visit a nearby waterfall and cool off from the hot Mexican weather with a swim in the naturally crystal clear waters.
The tour begins with pickup from your hotel and heads out along the bay of Huatulco towards the town of Llano Grande, a community located in the mountains. As you enter the town admire the surrounding coffee plantation, and depending on the season you can also see the fruit that grows here too. With your guide, enjoy a tour of the plantation and learn about the process of farming coffee as well as a tasting session of organic coffee, chocolate, and mezcal.

Continue the tour through the farm along a path on the banks of the river, stopping for photo opportunities along the way. Visit a number of stunning waterfalls throughout the walk to admire the crystal clear waters and surrounding natural pools. Arrive at the main waterfall of the walking tour and spend an hour and a half relaxing in the glistening waters. Enjoy a refreshing swim to cool off from the heat, or lounge around in the tropical environment.

Once you’re feeling refreshed, head back to the farm where a delicious and traditional Mexican lunch is waiting for you. Against the backdrop of the coffee plantation, mingle with the local farmers as well as the other tour guests as you dine. A few of the traditional delicacies on offer include black mole, black beans, and pork carnitas, as well as authentic Mexican beverages.
