Explore Mongolia from Ulaanbaatar to Khentii Province—ride horses, meet nomads, and discover the legacy of Genghis Khan.
Day 1 – Arrival in Ulaanbaatar

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, complete immigration and visa procedures, and meet your driver. Transfer to your hotel and check in. Enjoy free time to explore the lively downtown area, filled with local shops and everyday city life. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 – City Tour

After breakfast, begin the tour at Sukhbaatar Square, the heart of Mongolia’s political and cultural life. Continue to the Chinggis Khan Museum to discover Mongolia’s history and the legacy of Genghis Khan.

Enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the State Department Store for shopping. Attend a traditional folk concert featuring throat singing and local instruments, followed by dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 – Khentii Province

Drive to Khentii Province and visit the Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue Complex. Continue to Steppe Horse Camp on the Khukhuur Steppe. Enjoy a traditional welcome with airag, dinner, and a campfire evening.

Day 4 – Horse Riding & Nomadic Life

After breakfast, receive a horse riding briefing and meet your guide. Ride across the steppe and visit nomadic families, experiencing their daily life and traditions. Learn to prepare local dishes and enjoy time in nature. Return to camp for rest, a short hike, dinner, and overnight.
(Horse riding: ~20 km, 3–4 hours)

Day 5 – Dadal Sum

Travel to Dadal, known as the birthplace region of Genghis Khan. Visit a monument dedicated to Shikhikhutag, explore Khajuu Bulag, and walk through the scenic Balj River valley. Evening visit to Gurvan Nuur (Three Lakes). Overnight in Dadal.

Day 6 – Deluun Boldog & Steppe Camp

Visit Deluun Boldog and take part in traditional offerings. Explore local markets and surroundings. After lunch, return to Steppe Horse Camp in Batnorov. Enjoy a horseback ride through the mountains with a traditional hunting dog, spotting wildlife. Dinner and overnight at camp.
(Horse riding: ~20 km, 2–3 hours)

Day 7 – Return to Ulaanbaatar

Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Visit Sukhbaatar Square and enjoy shopping, including cashmere products. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 8 – Departure

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
