We will begin our adventure from the spanish port of Tarifa to the Moroccan port of Tangier, heading towards the beautiful Rif mountains where we will pause to see the Valley and have tea. Prepare to be surprised by the famous blue streets of the Chefchaouen medina. Once we arrive, we will walk through the blue-painted streets and narrow alleys of Chefchaouen's old town. Your guides will show you around the main square, where you'll see old buildings and lively cafes. We will explore the heart of Chefchaouen visiting the great fortress and the central mosque, and we will have the opportunity to try delicious Moroccan food in the center of the Plaza Mayor where the locals dance and have live traditional mountain music. Be surprised by the Jewish Quarter and the Portuguese Bridge along with other corners full of magic and charm until you reach the Ras el Maa waterfall, (east of the medina), which serves as a meeting point for local residents who come to cooling off, chatting and doing laundry on sunny days.
Chefchaoun is also a popular shopping destination, offering many indigenous crafts not found elsewhere in Morocco, such as woolen clothing and woven blankets. The area's indigenous homemade goat cheese is also popular with tourists.
We will return to the port of Tangier, where we will say goodbye, taking with us the memories of our day trip to Chefchaouen to return by ferry to Spain.
