From Maputo: 2 Day 1 night Maputo N. Park Safari & Beach

Discover the wildlife and landscapes of M.N.P on a 2-day trip from Maputo. Enjoy a guided safari, relax on the pristine beaches of Membene, and stay overnight in a comfortable chalet or safari tent.
Start your adventure with a convenient pickup from your hotel or house in Maputo, on a 4x4 SUV vehicle.
Drive approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, stopping to visit the Chinese cement factory in Bela Vista. After passing through Salamanga, arrive at the park gate at 7:30 AM.

After paying the fees, begin the safari at 8:00 AM, starting with the wildlife route. At 9:30 AM, take a break for a half-hour picnic, and at 10:00 AM, resume the safari along the forest and wetlands route. Make a detour to visit the hippopotamus sanctuary, and after the sanctuary, go directly to the lodge located on Membene Beach.

At 2:30 PM, have lunch from the delicious menu of the beach restaurant. After lunch, enjoy free time to relax. At 4:30 PM, take a short walk to the lake closest to the lodge to see hippopotamus and a fantastic sunset. Dinner is served from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and breakfast from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Accommodation will be in chalets or safari tents.

The following day, have lunch at 12:30 PM and leave the lodge at 1:30 PM. Go on a safari along the loop route and head to the main exit route of the park. At 5:00 PM, leave the park and return to Maputo.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
