YanWaiyam is an immersive cultural dining experience that blends imperial court cuisine, theatrical performance, and Hanfu aesthetics. Located beside Xi’an’s iconic Datang Everbright City, near the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and major landmarks, the venue offers a prime and easily accessible location.

Designed as a circular palace hall, the restaurant features a central performance stage surrounded by 240 dining seats across a 2,000-square-meter space. Elegant red-toned banquet tables, rotating cushioned chairs, Jingdezhen custom tableware, and refined décor recreate the grandeur of a Tang Dynasty royal feast.

Advanced technologies such as holographic 3D LED screens, modular lifting stages, and aerial effects deliver a fully immersive, cinematic atmosphere. Guests are welcomed by attendants in traditional court attire with ceremonial greetings, tea service, and hand cleansing rituals, setting a strong sense of ritual from the very beginning.

As the banquet unfolds, each imperial dish is paired with a themed performance inspired by the life of Empress Wu Zetian. Classical dance, music, poetry recitals, instrument performances, and costume showcases seamlessly intertwine with the dining experience. Every course tells a story, combining history, etiquette, and cuisine into an unforgettable journey through ancient Chang’an.
