[ Regarding Giant Pandas ]
Giant pandas follow natural daily routines and may occasionally rest indoors or have lower activity levels depending on weather and individual conditions. Sightings of specific pandas or active behaviors cannot be 100% guaranteed. Thank you for your understanding!

☑ Which Entrance to Choose? South Gate vs. West Gate

◆ West Gate (Recommended for a Relaxed, Less-Crowded Experience):
Downhill Walking: The West Gate is located at a higher elevation. Walking from West to South is mostly downhill, making it much easier on the legs—perfect for families with kids or seniors.
Fewer Crowds: Avoid the long entry lines seen at the classic gate. You can enjoy pandas comfortably without fighting for photo spots.
Open Outdoor Views: Newer enclosures feature open landscape designs, increasing your chances of spotting energetic pandas climbing trees and playing outdoors.

◆ South Gate (Best for "Panda Celebrities" & Classic Nurseries):
Direct Access to Top Stars: Ideal for visitors whose top priority is seeing celebrity pandas like "Hua Hua" (Villa No. 6), as well as the classic Sun and Moon Nursery Houses.

⚠️ Monday Maintenance Closures (Important Notice):

Please note that the following facilities inside the Chengdu Panda Base are closed every Monday for regular maintenance:
Giant Panda Villa No. 6: Closed all day (home to celebrity panda "Hua Hua").
️Giant Panda Museum: Closed all day.
Panda Art Museum: Closed all day.
Tip: The rest of the scenic area remains open as usual, but if your primary goal is to see "Hua Hua" or visit the indoor museums, we strongly recommend scheduling your tour between Tuesday and Sunday!

➤ Chengdu Panda Base Sightseeing Shuttle Bus

The ticket-checking process for sightseeing vehicles has been adjusted and is currently in a trial phase; passengers who purchase tickets online are required to scan their passports for every ride. Please decide whether to purchase tickets based on your needs.

Child Policy & Seating: Children eligible for free entry do not have an individual seat and must sit on an adult's lap. If a separate seat is required, please purchase a standard shuttle bus ticket for them.
Ticket Boarding & Re-entry: After your first ticket validation and boarding, you can use your shuttle pass (sent directly by our team) to hop on and off at any intermediate stop along the route.

Walking & Footwear Advice: Shuttle stops are situated on the main roads and do not drop visitors directly at the enclosures. There is still a noticeable walking distance from each stop to the actual panda viewing areas, so comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended!

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
