Description
Jiangwan Feast perfectly combines scenery, culture, cuisine and performances, bringing guests an unforgettable immersive experience
Jiangwan Feast deeply excavates the palace food etiquette of Huizhou and the ritual culture of the Xiao Jiang Clan Ancestral Hall in Jiangwan. Committed to integrating the essence of thousands of years of imperial diet culture with the local humanistic heritage of Huizhou, it presents this unique experience to every guest, allowing them to immerse themselves in the ancient elegance and humanistic charm where banquets, cuisine, rituals, music, and scenery coexist harmoniously.
The performances cover a variety of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) and traditional art forms. Huizhou classical dance features light and stretching movements, replicating the graceful postures of ancient banquets to bring you the gentle and elegant beauty of Huizhou dance. Instrumental performances mainly use traditional Huizhou musical instruments such as Erhu (Chinese two-string fiddle) and Bamboo Flute, playing melodious and 婉转 tunes that exude the spirit of mountains and rivers as well as humanistic feelings, filling the air with ancient charm. Intangible cultural heritage displays showcase the unique charm of traditional arts like Huizhou Opera and Huizhou Paper Cutting. In every gesture and movement, and each cut and carving, the performers fully demonstrate the profound heritage and meticulous inheritance of Huizhou's intangible cultural heritage.
The interior decoration is steady and elegant, integrating elements of modern light and shadow technology. It retains the solemnity of palace rituals and the charm of ancient Huizhou architecture, while ensuring comfort and convenience. A full-view stage is set at the core of the banquet hall, paired with screen projection and light and shadow effects. This allows guests to enjoy the delicious food while experiencing the charm of the performances up close. Suited for different occasions such as family reunions, friend gatherings, and business banquets, from the moment you step into the banquet hall, you will feel as if you have traveled through a thousand years, immersing yourself in an elegant imperial feast of ancient Huizhou.
To provide guests with a diverse immersive experience, ranging from costumes and makeup, to dish combinations and performance programs, Jiangwan Feast presents the graceful and elegant style of Huizhou people. While tasting delicious food and watching performances, guests can deeply experience the Huizhou cultural charm behind different solar terms and traditional festivals, truly understanding the humanistic heritage of Jiangwan and the inheritance context of imperial food etiquette
