The Annapurna Base Camp is a renowned trekking destination located in the Himalayas of Nepal. It is situated at the base of Mount Annapurna, one of the world's highest peaks. The trek to Annapurna Base Camp offers breathtaking views of diverse landscapes, including terraced fields, rhododendron forests, and picturesque villages inhabited by various ethnic groups.

The journey typically starts in Nayapul and passes through charming villages like Ghandruk and Chhomrong. Trekkers traverse diverse terrain, from subtropical forests to alpine meadows, ultimately reaching the Annapurna Sanctuary. The sanctuary is a glacial basin surrounded by towering peaks, creating a natural amphitheater that includes Annapurna I, Machapuchare (Fishtail), and other stunning peaks.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Transfer to your hotel.
Rest and prepare for the trek.
Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m)

Domestic flight to Pokhara.
Explore Pokhara and its beautiful lakes.
Day 3: Pokhara to Nayapul, and Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,540m)

Drive to Nayapul and start trekking.
Trek to Tikhedhunga.
Day 4: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2,860m)

Trek through dense rhododendron forests.
Reach Ghorepani.
Day 5: Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3,210m) and Tadapani (2,630m)

Early morning hike to Poon Hill for sunrise views.
Trek to Tadapani.
Day 6: Tadapani to Chhomrong (2,170m)

Descend to the village of Chhomrong.
Day 7: Chhomrong to Bamboo (2,335m)

Descend to Bamboo, passing through rhododendron and bamboo forests.
Day 8: Bamboo to Deurali (3,230m)

Trek to Deurali, with views of the Machapuchare (Fishtail) peak.
Day 9: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m)

Ascend to Annapurna Base Camp, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery.
Day 10: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2,335m)

Descend back to Bamboo.
Day 11: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1,760m)

Trek to Jhinu Danda and relax in natural hot springs.
Day 12: Jhinu Danda to Pokhara and Fly to Kathmandu

Drive to Pokhara from Jhinu Danda and
