The river valley offers healthy forests, some endangered wildlife, a bird's-eye view of high mountains, including Langtang Lirung (7245m), and the living culture of the people.
Langtang is the closest place where you can get to the massive snow-capped mountains and beautiful glaciers. This valley is located only 19 miles north of Kathmandu. The whole valley is dominated by Mount Langtang Lirung (7246m) and offers pine forest, swift mountain streams, rugged rock and snow-capped peaks, grassy down and meadows. The starting point of the trek is Syabru Bensi. From Syabru Besi, you will follow the Langtang River to the east until you get to Kyangin Gompa (3,049) with an overnight stay at Lama Hotel, Langtang Valley, respectively. On the fourth day, you will arrive at Langtang Valley. In this valley, besides natural wonders, you also visit local Tibetan villages and see their lifestyle.
Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 01: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1420m) via Trisuli Bazaar (540m) by local bus, 7-8 hrs
Day 02: Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel (2470m) 5-6 hrs
Day 03: Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3430m) 5-6 hrs
Day 04: Langtang Village to Kyanjing Gompa (3870m) 5-6 hrs
Day 05: Kyanjin Gompa - Tserkuri (5000m) - Kyanjin Gompa (6h)
Day 06: Trek back to Kyanjin Gomba to Lama Hotel (2470m) 5-6 hrs
Day 07: Lama Hotel to Syabru Besi (1420m) 5h
Day 08: Drive Shyabru Besi to Kathmandu by local bus for 7-8 hrs

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
