This dinner show offers a beautifully prepared four-course Nepali meal served on a traditional thali, featuring local favorites such as momos, lentil soup, seasonal vegetables, aromatic curries, rice, pickles, and a sweet dessert, with the option to taste locally brewed millet or rice spirit. As you dine, talented performers in colorful traditional attire present lively cultural dances including Tamang Selo, elegant Newari performances, and the energetic Tharu dance from the Terai region, accompanied by rhythmic folk music played on instruments like the madal and tabla. The evening concludes with an interactive finale where guests are invited to join the performers for a joyful group dance, creating a fun, immersive, and truly unforgettable cultural experience in Kathmandu.

Itinerary:
Your evening in Kathmandu begins around 6:00 PM with a warm welcome at a heritage-style restaurant or cultural venue, where guests are greeted with tika and flower garlands and offered a refreshing drink. Soon after, a short orientation introduces Nepal’s rich cultural diversity, highlighting the importance of dance, music, and cuisine. At 7:00 PM, the first segment of the traditional dance show begins, featuring lively folk performances such as Tamang Selo, the dramatic Newari Lakhe masked dance, and the energetic Tharu stick dance. The dinner is served in authentic Nepali Thali style, with dishes like dal bhat, vegetable curry, momo dumplings, pickles, yogurt, and optional meat curries. The second part of the dance show unfolds, showcasing Sherpa and Jhyaure dances, with an interactive segment inviting guests to join in. Around 9:15 PM, dessert is served perhaps sel roti or kheer before closing remarks and photo opportunities with performers in traditional attire. By 9:30 PM, the evening concludes, leaving guests with a memorable immersion into Nepal’s cultural heritage.
