Itinerary:
Your evening in Kathmandu begins around 6:00 PM with a warm welcome at a heritage-style restaurant or cultural venue, where guests are greeted with tika and flower garlands and offered a refreshing drink. Soon after, a short orientation introduces Nepal’s rich cultural diversity, highlighting the importance of dance, music, and cuisine. At 7:00 PM, the first segment of the traditional dance show begins, featuring lively folk performances such as Tamang Selo, the dramatic Newari Lakhe masked dance, and the energetic Tharu stick dance. The dinner is served in authentic Nepali Thali style, with dishes like dal bhat, vegetable curry, momo dumplings, pickles, yogurt, and optional meat curries. The second part of the dance show unfolds, showcasing Sherpa and Jhyaure dances, with an interactive segment inviting guests to join in. Around 9:15 PM, dessert is served perhaps sel roti or kheer before closing remarks and photo opportunities with performers in traditional attire.
