The Everest base camp is a lodge-to-lodge trek in Sagarmatha National Park. After a 30-minute flight to Lukla from Kathmandu (in the morning), the Everest Base Camp Journey begins through the Sherpa village with a Guide and porter. Lukla is both the starting and ending point of the Everest Base Camp.
Standing at an altitude of 8,848 m, Everest is the tallest mountain on the planet. Trekking to its base camp is some steps to heaven and more than trekking. We have been operating this trek and tour since 1998 AD, and we understand the needs of our clients, including their concern with altitude. Our motto is to let you enjoy and be stress-free! Trekking to Everest Base Camp is, for many, a lifetime experience and not a difficult task, although its base camp is 5,364 m. The way leads through the most spectacular Himalayan terrain with a Sherpa Guide who is very much familiar with their culture and customs.
What to Expect at Everest Base Camp
Your trek begins with a scenic flight to Lukla, where you'll be introduced to your staff and begin your journey to Phakding for your first overnight stay. As you ascend, you'll reach Namche Bazaar (3,440 meters) on day two, with an acclimatization day to help adjust to the altitude. You can visit Khumjung village and Everest View Hotel on the way back.
Next, a 6-hour trek leads you to Tengboche, known for its stunning Himalayan views and monastery. Afterward, you'll head to Dingboche for another acclimatization day before continuing to Gorak Shep, the original Everest Base Camp. Here, you'll visit Everest Base Camp (5,360 meters) and enjoy the majestic mountain views. The next morning, hike to Kala Patthar (5,545 meters) for a sunrise you'll never forget.

How do you prepare for Everest Base Camp?
Mt. Everest is more than a mountain, and its base camp is more than just trekking and hiking. Training to Everest base camp should include improving strength endurance, cardio endurance, and carrying a day pack up and down long distance. Before taking part in this trip, begin a long day hike at least one day in a week and focus on duration rather than distance.
Everest trek difficulty level
The difficulty level of the Everest Base Camp trek is moderate; however, it involves 6 to 7 hours of walking a day. Accomplishing this trek requires at least 12 days. You are suggested to be more determined, physically fit, and passionate.
Best season for the Everest region
The most popular month for EBC trek is March, April, May and October, November, December are considered the best time for EBC trek. These months tend to offer moderate temperatures, clear skies, and less chance of problematic snowfalls.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
