Embark on a trek to Khopra Danda and Khayer Lake, offering an unparalleled hiking experience in the Annapurna region. Immerse yourself in nature and enjoy panoramic views of some of the world’s highest peaks.
Begin your adventure with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Birethanti, followed by a trek through Tikhedhunga to Ulleri. Upon reaching Ulleri, head to Ghorepani, passing through local villages and interacting with residents to learn about their lifestyles and cultures.
The journey offers magnificent views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhare, and Hiunchuli. Early the next morning, ascend to Poon Hill to witness a spectacular sunrise over the snow-capped Himalayas, including glaciers and peaks such as Hiunchuli, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Khangsar Kang, and Machhapuchhare.
After Poon Hill, continue to Swanta. From Swanta, a narrow trail leads to Khopra Danda. Upon reaching Khopra Danda, visit Khayer Lake, requiring a 5 to 6-hour hike on steep terrain. The following day, the trek descends through Chistibang grasslands and timberline forests to Bayali Kharka.
Continuing from Bayali Kharka, the trail passes through rhododendron forests towards Tadapani. From Tadapani, the route leads to Ghandruk, a picturesque village. The trek concludes with a private jeep ride back to Pokhara.

- Note: A porter can carry up to 25 kg and is helpful for high-altitude treks. It's recommended to have at least one porter for every two trekkers for better convenience.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
