Begin your trek to the Lord Shiva Statue with a tranquil boat ride on the peaceful Phewa Lake in Pokhara, surrounded by stunning mountain views and the World Peace Pagoda.

Visit the Barahi Temple, located on a small island in the mid-eastern part of the lake. After the temple visit, take the boat to the other shore of Phewa Lake and begin your ascent to the World Peace Pagoda.

On clear days, enjoy stunning views of the Annapurna massif, including Annapurna 1 (8,091 m) and Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), and the sacred Machhapuchre (6,997 m). Walk past quaint settlements and through lush, shady forests. After approximately 1 hour, reach the World Peace Pagoda.

The World Peace Pagoda is a symbol of peace, promoting the message of non-violence and compassion. This Buddhist monument, located at an elevation of 1,100 m, offers a breathtaking view of the Himalayan range, Phewa Lake, and the city of Pokhara from the top of Ananda Hill. Take a moment to soak in the serene atmosphere and appreciate the beauty of this special place. Your visit here will last approximately 30 minutes.

Next, embark on a 1.5-hour walk to the towering statue of Lord Shiva, the tallest of its kind in Nepal, standing at over 15 meters. From this viewpoint, have stunning views of Lake Phewa, the city of Pokhara, and on clear days, the majestic Annapurna massif.

After taking in the sights at the Shiva statue, make your way back to the World Peace Pagoda for a well-deserved lunch. Following lunch, continue on a 1.5-hour walk to Pokhara Damside, followed by a quick 30-minute trip to Pokhara Lakeside where you'll be dropped off at your hotel.
