Description
Discover the Khumai Danda Korchen Trek, Pokhara’s best-kept secret. This 3-day wilderness adventure takes you along a dramatic ridgeline to the base of the sacred Mount Machhapuchhre.
Day 1: Pokhara to Hile Kharka (2,160m)
Travel by private jeep from Pokhara to the village of Ghachowk. Begin your hike through terraced farmland before entering a dense, moss-covered forest. After 5 hours of trekking, arrive at the quiet clearing of Hile Kharka.
Day 2: Hile Kharka to Khumai Danda (3,245m)
Climb higher along the ridge through "The Great Machhapuchhre Trail." As the treeline thins, the massive face of the Fishtail mountain dominates the horizon. Reach the Khumai Danda ridge in time to watch the sunset turn the peaks deep purple.
Day 3: Korchan Sunrise & Return to Pokhara
