Embark on a guided trek to the hilltop village of Sarangkot from Pokhara. Enjoy a scenic hike to the top of the hill, take in panoramic views of the Himalayas, and watch the sunset over the mountains.

After being picked up from your hotel in Pokhara, head to the west of the city in the direction of the hilltop village of Sarangkot. Arrive at the base of the hill and begin your guided trek.

Follow your experienced English-speaking guide on a route up to the peak where Sarangkot is located, a hike that takes around three hours. Along the way, discover tiny Nepali settlements and enjoy the awe-inspiring natural scenery of the region.

Reach the top of the hill, some 5200 feet (1600 m) in height, and take a well-deserved break to relax and marvel at the spectacular panoramic views of the Himalayas. The viewpoint offers magnificent vistas of Annapurna and other mountains such as Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, Manaslu, and Gangapurna.

Renew your energy with a typical meal in a local cafe (not included) and learn about the history, culture, and traditions of the people who live here. Watch as the sun sets over the Himalayan mountains from Sarangkot, and take in the magical sight as the light fades and illuminates the city of Pokhara and Phewa Lake in shades of orange and red.

Once dusk has drawn in, be driven back to Pokhara, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
