Description

Enjoy a scenic 3-hour day hike from Lakeside Pokhara to the peaceful Rock Garden area, with forest trails, lake views, and a touch of local nature.
3:30 PM – Meet at Lakeside and Start Hike
Your guide will meet you at your hotel in Lakeside. After a brief orientation, begin your pleasant walk heading north-west along the edge of the Phewa Lake.

4:00 PM – Reach Raniban (Queen’s Forest) Trailhead
Enter a peaceful forest trail near the base of Raniban. This part of the walk ascends gradually, offering refreshing air, bird sounds, and filtered light through the trees. It’s an easy climb, suitable even for families and beginners.

4:45 PM – Arrive at Rock Garden Viewpoint
After a scenic 45-minute forest walk, reach the Rock Garden area—a quiet and lesser-known nature escape on a ridge with rustic stone arrangements, pine trees, and panoramic views. Relax, explore the surroundings, and enjoy fantastic views of Phewa Lake, Pokhara Valley, and on clear days, even Annapurna and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).

5:15 PM – Sunset Viewing
Take your time soaking in the peaceful atmosphere and wait for the magical Himalayan sunset. As golden light paints the lake and sky, capture beautiful photos or just enjoy a mindful moment in nature.

5:45 PM – Descend via Alternate Trail
Begin a gentle descent through a different trail that loops back to Lakeside. This stretch allows you to experience more local life and quiet corners of Pokhara’s hillsides.

6:30 PM – Return to Lakeside
Arrive back at Lakeside by evening after arrive Lakeside tour end.
