Meet your Dutch-speaking guide at the Kompaan Thuishaven & Brewery in the Binckhorst, an industrial and increasingly vibrant area of The Hague. Thuishaven sits right on the waterfront of the Binckhaven and combines the working brewery with a spacious brewpub, terrace, and a relaxed industrial atmosphere.

Look through the large windows into the brewery itself, where Kompaan’s beers are brewed. The venue features an industrial design using containers and recycled materials, with around 20 taps serving Kompaan beers alongside a selection from other breweries.

During the guided brewery tour, a Dutch-speaking Kompaan guide takes you behind the scenes and explains how the beers are made, from the brewing process and ingredients to the ideas and stories behind Kompaan’s beers. The tour is suitable for both experienced craft beer enthusiasts and curious first-time visitors.

Start or end your experience with a tasting of six Kompaan core-range beers, giving you the opportunity to discover a variety of styles and flavors from the brewery. The tasting is accompanied by one Kompaan bitterbal per person, a classic Dutch snack with a Kompaan twist. The bitterbal contains Bloedbroeder beer, Kompaan’s award-winning Imperial Stout, which was named Best Beer in the Netherlands in 2017 at the Dutch Beer Challenge.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
