Description

A full-day private Royal tour visiting castles and palaces. We will take you to the 'Paleis het Loo' (1684), followed by a few unknown private palaces. End the tour by visiting Muiderslot Castle(1285)
A full-day private tour where you will be picked up and dropped off from any hotel or bed and breakfast.

Firstly, we will drive to 'Paleis Het Loo'. Originally built in the 17th century and renovated recently for €182 million, Paleis Het Loo is a grand palace with lavish gardens, decorative rooms, and stables with a big collection of cars and carriages that belong to the Dutch Royal family. The Palace has an impressive 'House of Orange', an elaborate exhibit that showcases objects that belong to the royal family. End the visit by going for a walk at the 'Orange Trial', surrounded by trees, waterways swans, and ducks.

We will drive to explore some of the private castles and palaces owned historically by private wealthy families. Depending on the time available, we can visit 2 to 4 castles.

Muiderslot Castle is our final stop. Built-in the 13th century, the impressive castle is one of the oldest and best preserved in the Netherlands. Overlooking the Vecht River and what used to be the South Sea, the castle was built 700 years ago. The castle was fully renovated by the famous architect Pierre Cuypers, who also helped design the Rijks Museum and the Amsterdam central station. A must-visit when you are visiting The Netherlands.
