Sundays in Auckland are best spent like a local — wandering through markets, tasting delicious food, and soaking up the atmosphere. On this tour, you’ll join a local guide to discover some of the city’s most vibrant weekend spots.
We begin at a Central Market where you will find a treasure trove of vintage clothing, books, jewellery, and brick-a-brack, all set to the backdrop of live jazz music. Grab a coffee and Danish pastry as you browse, or snack your way through the food stalls — there’s always something unexpected to find.
Next, we’ll head across the bridge to the North Shore. We will take a 20 minute stroll along the beach to get to our next market. Here you’ll find everything from street food to crafts and the most fabulous artisan gouda cheeses. Take your time exploring, tasting, and enjoying the local buzz.
Finally, we’ll finish at the Auckland Fish Market, where you can indulge in freshly shucked oysters, fish cooked to order, or other seafood delights. Relax in the sunny atrium with a glass of wine, enjoy the live music, and linger as long as you like — the tour ends here, but you’re welcome to stay on and soak up the Sunday vibe.

• Children and families are welcome — markets and beach walks are fun for all ages- however children must be actively supervised at all times.
• This tour does not run in bad weather. The Markets are not fun in the rain! They are often cancelled or postponed. In the event of heavy rain, the tour will either be refunded in full or an alternative customized tour will be provided.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
