Soak in the thermal mud and acidic, sulfurous waters as the local Maori have done for over 800 years. Apply the natural geothermal mud to your skin while relaxing in the warm sulfurous waters for 20 minutes.
Follow the mud spa with a cool shower before relaxing in the hot sulfur mineral spa. The warm geothermal mud opens and cleans the skin’s pores, and the sulfur spa provides a gentle exfoliation and deep cleansing.

• The complimentary shuttle from central Rotorua operates 3-4 times a day (seasonally). It must be pre-booked and is subject to availability
• Please confirm your shuttle pick-up time and location with the local operator after booking. Note that your hotel pick-up may be earlier than the time shown when booking
• The venue is open daily except Christmas Day. Opening hours vary seasonally
• Bring swimwear and towels: they will not be discolored by the sulphur but should be washed as soon as possible
• Changing rooms, shower facilities and disabled facilities are available on site
• The minimum age for the mud baths is 2.5 years of age, and 6 months for the sulphur spa
• All children under the age of 15 must be supervised by a caregiver at all times.
• Children should not bathe for extended periods of time, and should drink water constantly.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
