Trekking at Mombacho Volcano Nicaragua

The Mombacho volcano is one of the most famous in Nicaragua due to its location, natural attractions and access conditions, the various trails and, above all, the mystical cloud forest that it possesses.

From the moment you go up to the reserve you will live an adventure because of the steepness of the road, you will be able to see the coffee plantations and the cloud forest with its spectacular views.

By the time you reach the end of the trail, the temperature will have dropped significantly and the humidity will be high. Half way you will find a tourist center near the top of the volcano, this tourist center is very illustrative, there you will find information about the volcano, its flora and fauna.

It is here where we will start our hike (Good physical condition is required to do this hike) This trail is designed for people who want to spend more time in contact with Nature and in the Reserve, during this walk we will enter the Virgin Forest of the Cloud Forest , bordering the main crater of the Volcano in the center of which is a Fumarole that emanates sulfurous gasses, its route is quite difficult, winding with ups and downs between ravines but full of viewpoints with beautiful views.
