5-Day Tour of Albania with Meals and Transfers

Day 1: Tirana – Tushemisht – Korça

Arrive at Mother Teresa Airport in Tirana and transfer to your hotel. Begin exploring the capital with a visit to the National Historical Museum, followed by a walking tour of Skanderbeg Square, including the Ethem Bey Mosque and Clock Tower.

Drive south through Elbasan toward Lake Ohrid, stopping in Tushemisht to see the spring-fed canals. Continue to Korça for a walking tour of the city center and the Old Bazaar, then check into your hotel for the night.

Day 2: Korça – Voskopoja – Permet

After breakfast, drive to Voskopoja, a historic village, for a walking tour and visits to churches with frescoes. Continue to Langarica Canyon and take a dip in the hot springs at Benja Village. End the day in Permet with free time to explore and enjoy dinner.

Day 3: Permet – Gjirokastra

Drive to Gjirokastra, a UNESCO World Heritage site known as the “City of Stone.” Visit Gjirokastra Castle and the Weapons Museum, stroll through the Neck of the Bazaar, and see traditional stone carvers at work. Explore the Skendulaj House museum, Skendulaj Fortress, and the former political prison. Enjoy an evening at leisure.

Day 4: Gjirokastra – Saranda – Gjirokastra

Drive along the coast to Saranda with views of the Ionian Sea and Corfu Island. Take a walk along the waterfront, then explore the Butrint Archaeological Site, including the ancient theatre, Roman baths, and basilica. Stop in Ksamil for free time and swimming before returning to Gjirokastra.

Day 5: Gjirokastra – Berat – Tirana

Drive to Berat, a UNESCO city with Ottoman architecture. Visit Berat Fortress, Onufri Museum in Sainte-Marie Church, and explore the Mangalem and Gorica neighborhoods. Stop at the Ethnological Museum before driving back to Tirana for your overnight stay.
