Begin your walking tour at the Tourist Information Center and set off into streets where every corner has a story. Wander through Bryggen, the UNESCO-listed wharf that speaks of Hanseatic trade and Bergen’s European influences.

Continue along Øvregaten and Lille Øvregaten, the oldest streets in town, to reach the Cathedral. Hear about Magnus Lagabøte and see a "gift" left by the colonial power struggles a few hundred years ago.

Through Skostredet, head toward Festplassen and Byparken, to discuss Norway’s long struggle for independence and its National Romantic movement, which is intrinsically tied to Bergen.

Our guides will meet you directly in front of the Tourist Information Centre in Bergen. Look for our team wearing green vests with the Norwegian Guide Service logo - this is how you’ll recognize your guide easily. We have daily departures year‑round at 15:15 from the same meeting point. From April 1st to September 30th, we also offer a second daily departure at 12:30, following the same route and itinerary.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
