Begin your adventure with a 1-hour drive from Tromsø city center to the Aurora Camp, located away from city lights and perfect for Northern Lights observation.

Upon arrival, settle into the camp's basic facilities, where you can sit down, look up, and wait for the Aurora. Your guide will share fascinating facts about the Northern Lights and lead you to the best viewing spots.

Next, experience Arctic Floating. Slip into a thermal floating suit and drift on the surface of the Arctic Ocean without feeling cold. While floating, gaze up at the night sky filled with stars and, if conditions allow, the Northern Lights. This is a unique way to experience the Arctic.

If snow conditions are favorable, you will ride as a passenger on a snowmobile. After safety instructions, our guide will drive across the snowy terrain near the camp while you enjoy the adventure and the Arctic scenery.

After outdoor activities in the cold, step inside the camp's small sauna, which can hold up to 3–4 people at a time. Relax and recover in a traditional Arctic way, embracing the contrast between hot and cold, an essential part of Arctic life.

At the camp, a bonfire will be prepared. Guests can gather around the fire for warmth. We serve hot drinks and Norwegian specialties, such as hot chocolate, coffee, tea, and a warm fish soup with bread. Eating and drinking in the cold environment adds comfort to the tour.

This tour is more than just Northern Lights watching. It combines different activities in one program: Arctic Floating, snowmobiling, sauna, bonfire, and a meal. Each part gives you another way to experience the Arctic night. If the weather is favorable, you may see the Aurora, which is the highlight of the trip. This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
