Enjoy a short snowshoeing adventure in easy terrain, perfect for people with little experience and families with kids from 8 years and older.
After a short 10-minute drive from the city center to the top of Tromsø island, we will first learn how to use snowshoes and then start walking in the forest.
Our guide will lead you through flat and slightly hilly terrain. We will stop several times along the way to take photos and share interesting information about our beautiful city and the Arctic environment. The area is beautifully scenic with birch and spruce forests and offers the opportunity to enjoy incredible views of the surrounding island landscapes. We will also stop for a longer break where we will serve lefse (a delicious local snack) and a hot drink to warm you up.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
You need to wear your own warm and windproof clothes and winter boots above ankle. Snowshoes (to attach on your own boots) will be provided and are included in the price.
Winter clothes and boots can be rented separately at our rental center upon prior arrangement

The guide will meet you outside of Tromsø Outdoor activity and rental centre, 10 minutes prior to the tour departure.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
