Muscat: Wadi Mibam, Sur, and Bimmah Sinkhole Day Trip

We begin your adventure by passing through a quaint village and surrounding farms, where you might spot some friendly goats. As you approach Wadi Mibam, the landscape transforms into a rugged rocky oasis with date palms and lush green waterfalls, set against the backdrop of the ancient fortified Tiwi village.
The hidden gem has breathtaking crystal green pools and the soothing sounds of nature. Take in the serene beauty of this secret paradise, still growing in popularity despite its incredible beauty.

Next, head to the historical trade town of Sur, once famous for its shipbuilding, fishing, and maritime transport. Explore the town's crumbling buildings, lengthy corniche, and several museums, all reflecting its rich maritime history.

From Wadi Tiwi, make a stop at Fins Beach, also known as White Sands Beach. Enjoy the strikingly white sands, intriguingly pebbly beach, sparkling turquoise waters, and soft cool breeze whilst we set up a local omani majilis for you with local delicacies, coffee and dates!

Finally, make a stop at the Bimmah Sinkhole, a water-filled depression in the limestone of eastern Oman. Surrounded by a village, the sinkhole was formed by the collapse of the surface layer due to the dissolution of the underlying limestone. Take a refreshing swim in its clear waters before heading back to Muscat.
