Your day begins at 09:00 with hotel pickup and a short drive to Al Balid Archaeological Park, a UNESCO-listed site that tells the story of the ancient frankincense trade. Explore the ruins of this once-thriving port city and visit the Museum of the Frankincense Land to understand Salalah’s rich maritime and trading heritage.

Next, head to Dahariz Beach and its peaceful lagoon (Khor), just minutes away. Enjoy a refreshing break by the sea with fresh coconut juice or a tropical fruit drink while taking in the coastal views and capturing beautiful photos.

Continue east toward the historic town of Taqah to visit Taqah Castle, a traditional Omani fort offering insight into local life in the past. A short drive brings you to the ancient port city of Sumhuram (Khor Rori), another important archaeological site once connected to the frankincense route.
