Discover a different side of Panama City on this guided eco-walk to Ancon Hill, the highest natural point in the capital. Located just minutes from downtown, Ancon Hill is a 40.4-hectare protected nature reserve where rainforest, history, and city views come together.

This urban forest is home to two-toed and three-toed sloths, Geoffroy’s tamarins (monkeys), toucans, motmots, hummingbirds, and a variety of tropical bird species. As you walk along the paved road that winds through the hill, your certified guide will help you identify wildlife while explaining the ecological and historical significance of this iconic landmark.

At the top of the hill (199 meters / 653 ft above sea level), you will visit three different scenic viewpoints, each offering a unique perspective of Panama City:

• Casco Viejo, Panama Bay, and the Pacific entrance of the Canal
• The Panama Canal, Bridge of the Americas, and the northern side of the city

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
