Description

Huaraz, a corner of natural wonders in Peru. Laguna 69 dazzles with its turquoise color and the mysterious forests of Puya Raimondi immerse you in a unique world of giant Andean flora.
Day 1: Callejón de Huaylas / Campo Santo de Yungay / Laguna de Llanganuco / Caraz.

- AM: Arrival in the city of Huaraz, reception at the bus terminal and transfer to the selected hotel.
- 8:30 am: Breakfast at the hotel.
- 9:00 a.m.: Tours heading to the Callejón de Huaylas, north of Huaraz, passing and appreciating the picturesque Andean towns and the unique beauty of the Cordilleras Blancas.
- We will pass through the towns of Paltay, Taricá, Jangas, Yungar, Anta. We will visit the province of Carhuaz, Mancos, Yungay, then we will enter the Huascarán National Park, the main attraction of this trip being the beautiful Llanganuco Lagoon; Chinancocha, a place where you can realize the pleasure of riding a horse or boat. There will be no shortage of opportunities to delight your palate by purchasing some typical dishes that local residents eat near the place.
- We will return to the city of Caraz, to visit its main square and its famous dairy factories and other products from the region.
- Ending our tour in the utilitarian and decorative crafts of Taricá (handicraft factory demonstration).
- 7:30 p.m.: Arrival in Huaraz.

Day 2: Chavín Archaeological Monument / Querococha Lagoon / Chavín National Museum.

- 8:30 am: Breakfast at the hotel.
- 9:00 a.m.: Visit to the ancient temple of Chavín.
- The tour continues its journey, this time we will appreciate the map of Peru (natural formation), we will pass through the impressive Cahuish Tunnel (4,550 meters above sea level and 480 m long).
- We will arrive at the Conchucos Valley with its Andean towns of Tambillos, Máchac, Quercos, and finally we will arrive at the Chavín Archaeological Monument. There we will observe the famous "Lanzón de Chavín", Cabeza Clava, the Altar of Choque Chinchay, Pórtico de las Falcónidas, galleries, ceremonial plazas, the National Museum of Chavín.
- 7:30 p.m.: Arrival in Huaraz.

Day 3: Nevado Pastoruri / Puya Raimondi / Cave Paintings (New Climate Change Route).

- 8:30 am: Breakfast at the hotel.
- 9:00 a.m.: Unforgettable adventure tourism, visiting the towns of Recuay and the Pumapampa spring that takes on different colors depending on the position of the sun, cave paintings.
- Finally we will take a short walk to see the Nevado Pastoruri where you can see the snow mountain, ice caves and a frozen lagoon.
- 5:30 pm: Arrival in Huaraz.

4 Day: Laguna 69 Walk.

- 5:00 am: Pick up from your hotel, we will depart in our private bus to the north side of the city of Huaraz through a paved road.
- 8:00 am: Breakfast in the Llanganuco ravine, we enter the Huascarán National Park, we will observe the famous Llanganuco lagoons, to finally arrive at Onionpampa.
- From here we will begin our walk of approximately 3 hours. through the Demanda stream to lagoon 69 with turquoise waters, Pisco, Huandoy, Huascarán. 7:00 pm: Arrival in Huaraz.
- At the coordinated time, transfer to the bus terminal.
