Begin your day with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Head towards Pallata, and make a short stop in Ollantaytambo, the former royal estate of the Inca Empire. Continue on to Pallata and begin your hike.
Starting at 3100 meters above sea level, this hike takes you through several ecological floors that display magnificent changes in the colors of the flora and fauna. Witness and experience the cloud forest phenomenon, where the humidity of the valley is retained causing it to drizzle all year.
At 3800 meters above sea level, arrive in Choquechaca. Meet the locals that live in this quaint town and learn about its traditions and culture. Then, enjoy a box lunch before heading back.
On your way back, take a detour to Pumamarca, the Inca archeological site with the largest number of platforms throughout the valley. Conclude your hike with a relaxing ride back to your hotel.

• Roundtrip transportation is available from hotels located in Cusco's historic center
• This activity requires good acclimatization (at least full 48 hours in Cusco downtown altitude)

Pickup begins 15 minutes prior to the departure time.
This activity does not include pickup from private residences (Airbnb). If you stay in one, please contact the local partner days prior to the start of the tour, in order to coordinate a meeting point for pickup.
For tax purposes, it is important to send passengers' passport copies to destinationservices@limatours.com.pe when you arrive in Cusco.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
