Depart at 9am, takes place from our private tour from Huaraz, depart north direction to Llanganuco Lakes, which are located between the mountains of Huascaran and Huandoy, tour starts in Huaraz. Passing by several typical villages appreciating the beautiful white mountains of Huandoy, Huascaran, Hualcan, Copa and others. You can make a photo-stop from the various viewing points on the way. continue to Carhuaz 2650masl, Yungay the buried city holds history; a 7-degree earthquake took place in 31 May 1970 at 3:20pm, pieces of the Huascaran mountain’s north peak broke off and caused avalanche of mud and ice and in 6 seconds destroyed Yungay province. guided visit will take you around one hour, then start ascending the dusty road up to Llanganuco Lakes. start visiting the lakes Orconcocha and bird watching, Chinacocha Lake, here take alternative activities such as sailing with small boats, then continue waking along the nicest trail of Maria Josefa full of vegetation, where at the end the bus will be waiting and take to the countryside typical restaurant for lunch by their own, We come back the same way to Yungay then drive back to Huaraz

- if you don't like walking you can stay in the car getting down at any time you desire for the photos
- for who want to walk you will go around the the lake and hike down to beautiful shor two hours of Maria Josefa trail
- you will have late lunch in a outdoor country side restaurant
