Description
We will explore the impressive Huascaran National Park and hike the María Josefa trail. Our final destination is the impressive Chinancocha Lagoon, with its crystal clear turquoise waters.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Huaraz around 9:00 am.
Then, we will drive north through the Callejón de Huaylas, which lies between the Cordillera Blanca and the Cordillera Negra, until we reach the Huascarán National Park.
On our way, we will pass through Andean villages and enjoy breathtaking landscapes. We will arrive at the Llanganuco Gorge and the Chinancocha Lagoon. From here, we will begin a hike of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes along the María Josefa trail, famous for its quenual forests.
We will have a short guided free time to explore the area and have lunch on our own.
After visiting the Campo Santo de Yungay, we will return to the vehicle and head back to the city of Huaraz.
You can expect to arrive around 6:30 pm.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
