Live this incredible tour that combines the best of the culture and gastronomy of Trujillo. Get to know the capital of Chimus, Chan Chan and discover the secrets of preparing Pisco Sour and Ceviche.
We begin our tour with Chan Chan, ancient capital of the Chimú culture and known as the largest city in the pre-Hispanic world. The city is composed of palaces, religious temples, production and housing areas. During our visit we will visit the palace called Nik An, which is the only one that has been restored.
During the tour we will visit its ceremonial plazas, small altars, patios, a ceremonial well and finally the funerary platform where the Chimú king was buried; Many of these sectors are decorated with beautiful reliefs of waves, cormorants, pelicans, fish, rhombuses and other geometric figures and designs in general inspired by the sea.

Next, we will go to the Huanchaco beach where we will learn the secrets of preparing the most representative dish and drink of Peru (Ceviche and Pisco Sour).
An expert bartender will show us how to prepare this delicious Peruvian cocktail called Pisco Sour. Next, the restaurant's chef will teach us the secrets of preparing a delicious ceviche which has been recognized as the most traditional dish in Peru. Includes tasting.

After tasting the ceviche we go to the Huanchaco market to learn about the vegetables, fruits and typical products of Peru and learn about life in a local market.

Finally we tour Huanchaco beach to observe the boats known as "caballitos de totora" that are used for daily fishing to this day. We will learn how they are made and how they are used to this day.
