Conquer Chachani, the highest volcano near Arequipa, on a guided trek. Camp under the stars, reach the summit at 6,075 meters, and enjoy panoramic views of the Andes.
Begin your adventure with an early morning departure 7:30 a.m. from your accomodation Arequipa in a 4×4 vehicle. Drive up to 5,000 meters, where your high-altitude trek begins. After a 2-hour hike, settle in for the night at base camp, surrounded by breathtaking Andean landscapes.

Second Day early morning. Wake up before dawn to begin your ascent under a sky full of stars. Reach the snow-dusted summit of Chachani, the highest volcano near Arequipa, just in time for a sunrise you’ll never forget. On clear days, enjoy panoramic views of Misti Volcano, Ampato, and the Andean mountain range.

After taking in the views, descend to base camp and then drive back to Arequipa, arriving in the afternoon around 2 p.m. Celebrate your achievement of conquering one of Peru’s most iconic peaks.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
