Arequipa: Magical Colca Canyon 2 days with Ceremony of Payment to the Earth

Discover the geography of the Colca Canyon on an adventure full of culture and ancestral tradition, accompanied by a ceremony of payment to the earth, where we can ask the Apus to fulfill our dreams.
Day 1: This adventure will begin in Arequipa with pickup from your hotel between 7:00 and 7:30 in the morning. We will head to the traditional village of Cabanaconde in our tourist vehicle. During the trip, we will stop at the volcano viewpoint to enjoy the panoramic view of the volcanic chain in southern Peru. We will also stop at the Antahuilque viewpoint to enjoy the view of the Colca Valley and the pre-Inca terraces. We will also stop at the Tapay viewpoint to enjoy the view of the canyon and the villages at the bottom of the canyon. We will then arrive in Cabanaconde.
In Cabanaconde, we will check into a hotel, and then the tour guide will take us to a restaurant for lunch. After lunch, the tour guide will take us to the San Miguel viewpoint to enjoy the view of the Sangalle Oasis and the protective mountains of Cabanaconde, called Apus. Here we will also participate in the ceremony of payment to the earth, asking the Apus (protective mountains of the village) to fulfill our wishes. We will enjoy the ceremony accompanied by the sunset. Then we will return to the hotel to share dinner. Afterwards, we will spend the night at our accommodation.
Day 2: At 7:00 a.m., we will have breakfast and then head to the Cruz del Condor viewpoint. Here, we will stop for an hour to enjoy the flight of the condor and the beautiful view that this viewpoint offers us. Afterwards, we will continue our tour and head to the Chacapi hot springs, where we will enjoy these thermo-medicinal waters. Then we will head to the town of Chivay for lunch. After lunch, we will continue our return trip, stopping at Toqcra Pampa to enjoy the view and see South American camelids such as llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas. Our tour will continue until we reach the city of Arequipa at approximately 5:00 p.m. The tour ends two blocks from the main square of Arequipa.
