From Arequipa: Colca Canyon Day Trip with Buffet Meals

A tour will take us to explore the deep Colca Canyon, observe the flight of the condors, visit villages with traditional culture, enjoy thermal baths and try the local cuisine.
We begin by picking up passengers at their respective hotels to begin the journey to Yura. The trip will be made directly to the Cruz del Cóndor, making only one stop for breakfast.

We will arrive at the Cruz del Cóndor, from where we will be able to admire one of the deepest canyons in the world and the condor sanctuary. On the way back, we will make stops in the towns of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque, known for their beautiful colonial churches, and at the viewpoints of Antahuilque and Choquetico, where we will be able to observe pre-Inca tombs and models, as well as the impressive Colca landscape with its terraces. We will also enjoy the typical costumes, camelids and trained birds, and taste traditional drinks such as the Colca Sour, made in Sancayo.

During the trip, we will go to the thermal baths of Chacapi, with its natural views. We will then have lunch for an hour in Chivay before returning to Arequipa, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch with the best of local cuisine.

On the way back, we will stop at the volcano viewpoint (the highest point at 4,910 m.a.s.l.), in the Tocrapampa wetlands, where we will be able to observe wild birds and herds of alpacas and llamas. In Pampa Cañahuas, we will see herds of vicuñas, part of the Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve, known for their extremely fine fiber. Finally, we will return to Arequipa.
