Description
Hop on a bike and enjoy the sensation of pedaling as you descend the slopes of Pichu Pichu. This excursion is an ideal experience to get in touch with Peruvian nature.
We will pick you up from the meeting point in Arequipa at the indicated time and take a minibus to the top of the Pichu Pichu volcano. As we ascend, you will enjoy stunning views of the surroundings of this extinct crater in the Volcanic Mountain Range of southern Peru. It measures 5,542 meters!
It is time to change vehicles. We will fasten our helmets and get on our bikes to begin a 30-kilometer descent that will surprise you. We will pedal for four hours along the Pichu Pichu mountain range releasing large doses of adrenaline.
During the descent, we will contemplate other volcanoes that surround Arequipa, such as the Misti or Chachani volcanoes. In addition, the guide will explain to us the peculiarities of the different species of flora and fauna that we will find along the way. With a bit of luck, we may even see a llama or an alpaca.
At the end of the exciting descent, we will return to the minibus that will take us back to Arequipa, where we will finish the excursion after five and a half hours of activity.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
