Description
An ideal adventure for those who want to enjoy Andean nature, observe wildlife, and take unforgettable photos before arriving in the heart of the Colca Valley
Our adventure begins between 6:00 AM and 6:15 AM with pick-up from your accommodation located in the town center of Puno. Over the course of a journey of approximately 6 hours, we'll make strategic stops in some of the most emblematic natural landscapes of the Andes in southern Peru.
Our first stop will be at the Little Titicaca (Lagunillas Lagoon), an impressive mirror of water surrounded by the immensity of the Andean highlands. Here we'll have the chance to observe various high Andean birds, such as flamingos, gulls and wild ducks. The tranquility of the surroundings, accompanied by the silence of nature, makes this place an ideal setting for photography and for taking in the stunning Andean landscapes.
We'll continue to Pampa Cañahuas, famous for being home to numerous wild vicuñas, considered one of the finest and most representative camelids of the Andes. During our visit, we'll also see llamas and alpacas grazing freely.
The adventure reaches its highest point at the spectacular Patapampa Volcanoes Vantage Point, where an extraordinary panoramic view of volcanic peaks such as the Misti, Chachani, and Ampato, among other giant mountain ranges, unfolds.
Finally, we arrive in Chivay
