Tour of Salinas and Yanaorco lagoons + Lojen thermal baths

In this excursion to the Salinas and Yanaorco lagoon we will discover these two unusual places of the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca.
Route At 6:00 am We will leave your hotel or San Agustín Street and begin the tour. On the way we will make a stop in the town of Mariano Melgar so you can have breakfast on your own. Then we arrive at the Salina and Aguada Blanca National Park, home of the Misti, Pichu Pichu and Chachan volcanoes. With views of these magnificent craters we arrive at the Salinas Lagoon, which will surprise you with its wetlands and salty beaches. In the surroundings we can observe endemic fauna such as llamas, alpacas, vicuñas and flamingos, as well as other species of migratory birds. We also visited the Moche salt flat, where we played with perspective and took beautiful photographs. Our next stop is at the Lojen spas, where we will give you free time to relax and immerse yourself in its therapeutic waters of 24-26 degrees. Then we headed to the San José de Uzuña Dam, a beautiful work of civil engineering that contains the Yanaorco Lagoon. There is also free time here for lunch, exploring the area, and kayaking. Finally, we will return to Arequipa and we will drop you off at 16:30-17:00 at your hotel in the center of Arequipa or in the main square. Pickup The tour includes pickup from hotels located in central Arequipa. If your accommodation is outside this area, we will contact you to arrange an alternative meeting place.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
