Day 1: Cajamarca – Bellavista Viewpoint – Cumbemayo – Granja Porcón

Begin with hotel pickup in Cajamarca and visit a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the city and surrounding countryside.

Continue to Cumbemayo, where you will walk among unusual volcanic rock formations known as the Frailones. Discover the ancient aqueduct, ceremonial stones, narrow passages, and natural viewpoints.

After lunch, travel to Granja Porcón, a cooperative farm surrounded by pine forests and agricultural landscapes.

Check into your countryside accommodation and enjoy a guided walk through the farm. Learn about its agricultural, livestock, forestry, and dairy activities.

After dinner, enjoy a peaceful evening beside the fireplace or observe the stars from the open countryside.

Day 2: Granja Porcón – Milking – Cheese Workshop – Forest Walk

Wake up early and join the farm workers during the morning milking activity. Learn about animal care and how fresh milk is collected and stored.

After breakfast, participate in an artisanal dairy workshop. Follow the process of transforming fresh milk into cheese, yogurt, butter, or manjar blanco.

Enjoy a tasting of the products prepared at the farm before helping make a traditional countryside lunch.

In the afternoon, take a guided walk through the pine forest. Observe local birds, visit panoramic viewpoints, and learn about the cooperative’s forestry activities.

Return to the lodge for dinner and a second night at Granja Porcón.

Day 3: Granja Porcón – Ventanillas de Otuzco – Llacanora – Cajamarca

After breakfast, leave the farm and travel toward the Ventanillas de Otuzco. Explore this ancient pre-Inca necropolis composed of burial niches carved into volcanic rock.

Continue through the countryside to Llacanora. Take a gentle walk to its small waterfalls and enjoy views of farming fields and traditional villages.
