Choquequirao Trek 4 Days 3 Nights is a walk to the lost citadel that was called the twin sister of Machu Picchu, Choquequirao.
Day 1: Capulilloc - Chiquisca - Rosalina beach
The Choquequirao Trek 4 Days 3 Nights Tour begins with the departure from Cusco at approximately 04:30 am towards the town of Cachora, where we will meet with the rest of the team.
We will start the walk going through beautiful Andean landscapes, we will also have an incredible view of the mountains of Padreyoc and Wayna, from the Capuliyoc viewpoint we will be able to admire the Apurimac Valley.
We will arrive at Chiquisca where we will have lunch to recover energy and continue with the descent to Playa Rosalina, the lowest point of the walk. We will ascend for approximately 2 hours until we reach Santa Rosa, here we will have our first camp.
Dinner and overnight in the camp.
Day 2: Santa Rosa - Marampata - Choquequirao
We will continue with the walk in Santa Rosa towards Marampata, in the course we will have a beautiful view of the Apurímac canyon, we will arrive at Marampata, a place where we will have lunch and that will be our camp, we will rest and continue walking for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes until we reach the City Choquequirao Inca.
We will have a guided tour of the most important areas such as the main esplanade, the Usno, the Workshops and the Platform Sector that are embedded in stone in the shape of Llamas.
After the guided tour, we will return to Marampata to enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night.
Day 3: Choquequirao - Chikiska
Very early we will have breakfast, and then we will leave Choquequirao and we will begin to descend back from where we will once again observe the Apurímac canyon, its exuberant vegetation, flowers and orchids.
After a long walk we will arrive at Rosalina beach where we will have lunch, then we will have a well-deserved rest and then we will continue with our walk ascending to our CHIKISKA camp where we will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 4: Chikiska - Capuliyoc 8 km
In the morning we will have a comforting breakfast and we will start the return walk towards the Capuliyoc pass where we will have a beautiful view of the Apurímac canyon for the last time.
We will arrive in San Pedro de Cachora where we will say goodbye to the team that accompanied us on this adventure, we will go to the mobility to return to Cusco, we will arrive in the afternoon.
