Beat the crowds and arrive first at Rainbow Mountain, one of the most popular one-day hikes in the Cusco region. Get away from the city, traffic, and pollution to enjoy the amazing natural and cultural landscapes.
You will be picked up from your hotel around 5 AM and drive for 3.5 hours to the trailhead, where we will enjoy a healthy breakfast. Cusipata is a native community with few inhabitants dedicated mostly to agriculture. Move on to the Community of LLaqta, and start your 2-hour hike up to Rainbow Mountain. On the way, see llamas, alpacas, and a beautiful mountain range. Take time to enjoy the landscape and take lots of pictures, before you slowly descend again to LLaqta community. Drive back to Cusipata to enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by a local chef using local products.
After a full day of relaxation and hiking in the remote mountains, head back to Cusco arriving at approximately 5:30 PM.

• It is important that you spend some days in Cusco before going to the Rainbow Mountain, so your body acclimates to the high altitudes
• This tour is not recommended for people with asthma, heart problems, and/or high blood pressure

Pickup is available from hotels in the historic center of Cusco. Pickup is only included for hotels located in downtown and in cases where transport is impossible due to the narrow streets, you will be provided with a meeting point. If you are staying in a private apartment or outside the pickup route, you will be provided with the closest meeting point available.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
