Description

A 4 day adventure in which we will walk through different Andean landscapes and incredible places such as humantay lagoon, plus the last day awaits us the wonder of Machu Picchu.

Day 1: Cusco -Soraypampa - Humantay Lagoon - Salkantay Pass
We will start the adventure by picking you up from your hotel (near or inside the historical center) between 4:30 a.m., we will travel to Mollepata where we will have breakfast. Then we will continue to Soraypamapa where we will be waiting for the horses that will carry the luggage of each passenger only 7 kilos and the riders who will accompany us.
We will walk uphill until we reach Laguna Humantay, after our visit we will start the descent to Soraypampa and from there to the Salkantay pass camp where we will spend the night, upon arrival we will enjoy a delicious lunch, then you will have time to walk around and explore the area.

Day 2: Salkantay pass - Wuayracmachay - Chaullay camp
We will wake up early to have breakfast and get ready to start the trek, this day is the most difficult of the whole tour because we will reach an altitude of 4630 meters and we will hike 20 km.
We will begin the hike for approximately 3 hours until we pass through the Salkantay trail, the highest part of our way, we will perform a small Andean ritual for the Apus who are the gods of the mountains so that they protect us throughout our journey.
Then we will continue our way for 2 hours to the place of lunch on the way we can observe beautiful landscapes and Andean flora and fauna, then descend for 3 hours to the second camp Chaullay where we will spend the night.

Day 3: Chaullay - Santa Teresa - Hidroelectrica - Aguas Calientes
We will wake you up early at 6:00 a.m. so you can have breakfast and get your things ready, at 7:00 a.m. we will continue with the hike to Sahuayaco Beach, when you arrive you will take a local transportation to Santa Teresa, when you arrive you will have lunch.
Then you will take a car for 45 minutes to Hidroeléctrica, once here we will walk for 3 hours along the train tracks towards the town of Aguas Calientes where we will stay overnight.

Day 4: Machu Picchu - Cusco
We start this day early with a delicious breakfast, then you will begin a walk from the village to the checkpoint of the Bridge of the Ruins, here you must show your passports and your tickets to Machu Picchu, after passing the checkpoint you will climb many stairs for about 1 hour to the main gate of Machu Picchu, we should be there at 6:00 am.
We will enjoy a guided tour of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, we will have time to explore and take pictures, at the end of the tour we will return to the village where you can have lunch on your own, in the afternoon you must go to the station at the time indicated on your tickets to board the train back to Ollantaytambo and from here we will transfer to a bus to the city of Cusco.
