Description

South of the city of Cusco, there is this valley of breathtaking landscapes and memorable archaeological centers. We appreciate the importance place with Andahuaylillas, Pikillacta and Tipon.
Day 1: South Valley
The excursion begins with the pick up from your hotel between 8:30 to 9:00 am in the city of Cusco and then head south.
First point of visit Tipon Archaeological Site also known as the temple of the waters, is a system of hydraulic channels perfectly planned along with its agricultural irrigation system.
Second point of visit Pikillacta considered one of the best preserved pre-Inca cities in the Andean country. The architecture of Pikillacta includes buildings that have served as villages located in front of the Wakarpay lagoon, enabled by the Wari Culture.
This excursion ends with a visit to the Sistine Chapel of America, the Church of San Pedro (Andahuaylillas), noted for its religious art murals, baroque style paintings, gold leaf frames, anonymous paintings of the Cusco school.
Finally we return to the city of Cusco, 3:00 pm approximately.
