On the first day, we will take a bus to Hidroelectrica, and from there, we will begin a 3-hour continuous hike. The next day, we will take a guided tour of Machu Picchu.
We recommend booking in advance or checking the availability of Machu Picchu tickets to avoid any setbacks. (IF THE PASSENGER DOES NOT BOOK IN ADVANCE AND IT IS A LAST-MINUTE BOOKING, WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT IN LINE AT THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE TO BE ALLOCATED A QUOTA FOR ENTRY TO MACHU PICCHU.)
Hotel pick-up: Pick-up will take place between 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM, depending on your location (near or within the historic city center).
Transfer to Hidroelectrica: You will travel by bus to Hidroelectrica, where you will have the opportunity to have lunch.

Start of the hike: From Hidroeléctrica, you will begin a self-guided hike to the town of Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, make your way to the main square and wait at the temple located there. (Upon arrival, along with the transfer, you will need to queue at the Ministry of Culture to purchase your ticket for Machu Picchu.)
Accommodation: From the square, a representative will take you to the hostel where you will spend the night.
Exploration of Machu Picchu: The next day, we will leave early to walk to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Alternatively, you can choose to purchase a bus ticket at Consettur.
Guided tour: You will enjoy an approximately 2 to 3-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu. Afterwards, you will return to the village for lunch on your own.
Return to Hidroeléctrica: After lunch, you will walk back to Hidroeléctrica, where transportation will be waiting for you until 2:30 p.m. to take you back to Cusco.
End of the tour: The tour will conclude near the Plaza de Regocijo in Cuzco.

*In the event of a mishap or emergency, the agency will assist you with the purchase of train tickets, which would be an additional charge on top of the tour price. On public holidays and festivals in Cusco, you will need to stay overnight.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
